Our hearts are brimming with delight to reveal the wondrous success of the 1st Surgical Outreach Program organized by Sina97ala in partnership with OSPA-FMC and Ormoc City Medical Society, held from January 29th to 31st in Ormoc City, Philippines. The outreach program was aimed at delivering much-needed surgical care to the local community and we are proud to report that a total of 63 surgeries were successfully conducted during this period.
The range of surgeries performed during this outreach program was truly comprehensive and impactful. It included procedures such as Thyroidectomies, Cleft Lip Surgery, Herniotomy, Parotidectomy, Sistrunk procedure for thyroglossal duct cyst, Cataract Surgeries, minor ophthalmologic surgeries, as well as various other minor procedures including ganglion cyst, breast mass, sebaceous cyst, and lipoma excisions.
This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and support of the entire medical team, volunteers, and partners who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this program. Their commitment to providing critical surgical interventions to those in need has made a significant difference in the lives of many individuals.
